Abstract
The use of Rosenthal's Binomial Effect Size Display (BESD) as a tool for reporting the magnitude of effect sizes to the evaluation audience is discussed. The authors give an overview of the BESD, describe how it is calculated, and present a review of its strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, suggestions for the appropriate use of the BESD are given.
