Abstract

Conrad HIlton was a pioneer in the lodging industry, building an international hotel company that spanned continents. Today, his firm has hotels across Asia, Europe, the Americas, and Africa. His leadership style was visionary for both the times and the lodging industry, and he has left a lasting mark on the world through his leadership, vision, and personal philanthropy. This is one of five profiles of leaders in the hospitality and tourism industries.
