Case Review of Louisiana v. Callais

Abstract

The American right to vote has become increasingly restricted in the past decade. In the pending Supreme Court case Louisiana v. Callais, the stakes lie in the future efficacy of the Voting Rights Act of 1965 in enforcing the Fifteenth Amendment. This case review explores the background of Louisiana v. Callais and the arguments heard by the court.
