Abstract

This note proposes fresh emendations to a score of passages by several medieval Catalan poets (Bernat de So, Pere March, Andreu Febrer, Jordi de Sant Jordi, Lluís Icard, Ausiàs March, and Jaume March Jr.). Each emendation is discussed in detail. The collection is intended not merely as a survey of emendation case studies, but as a reminder that traditional philology should be ancillary to literary history.
